Awning windows are hinged at the top and open outward, their entire sash opens to provide full side-to-side ventilation. Awing windows are a type of window design that allows the window sash to swing outward rather than inward or up and down. Once in common use in schools, manufacturing plants and some homes prior to the advent of air conditioning in those environments, the awing window is still sometimes utilized in the design for newer homes in temperate climates.

Aluminum profiles are the best material of the framework, they have the excellent processing and mechanical performance, and a wide variety of color choices (powder coat, PVDF coat, anodize and wood) that adapt to variety of decoration styles and long-lasting colors against all weather conditions.
